London Calling

I have finally got round to booking a short holiday to London it been on my mind for a few years now and I finally booked a few days of work so I can go along with my Mum. I don't think I been on holiday for well over seven years so I am so excited! Even though it is only for 3 days I'm going to make the most of it, fingers crossed the weather not too bad. I made a wish list of places I want to visit such as the National Science Museum, a few famous landmarks and I booked tickets to see the Bodyguard the musical. Which is something I wanted to go and see before the show ends in London. Hopefully I will remember to take lots of photos so I can put them blog to show you all when I get back.

Used Up Empties: Everyday Product Reviews

Here are a few of my everyday products that I have used up lately and my thoughts on them:

Superdrug Hand Therapy Intensive Cream: This product gives you really quick relief from dry hands however I felt after not using after a few hours my hands quickly became dry again. So I felt that you have to keep using it to keep your hands soft throughout the whole day.
Would I buy this product again? No

Nivea Pearl & Beauty Shower Cream Oil: I always seem to pick lots of these Nivea shower creams up when they are on offer because they are great value for money. They leave my skin feeling soft and smelling so nice; they also come in a wide range of scents.
Would I buy this product again? Yes

Sanex dermo extra control 48H Roll: I love all of the Sanex range of deodorants they all give you that lasting 48hour protection and have never let me down. This one is my favorite from the brand because it smells so fresh.
Would I buy this product again? Yes

Simple Spotless Skin Deep Clean Cleansing Pads: I love the brand Simple, all their products are so affordable and work wonders on your skin. You get around 60 pads in this small tub and they help fight against getting spots. This leaves my face feeling smooth and reduces the number of spots that seems to appear on my face.
Would I buy this product again? Yes

Pantene Pro-V Shampoo Repair & Protect: This is one of my favorite shampoo that I buy a lot because it leaves my hair soft and in great condition. Because I am always straightening my hair nearly every day I feel that this shampoo protects it from the damage.
Would I buy this product again? Yes

TRESemmé Salon Sleek Straightening Spray: This product seems to last me well over six month and I recommend it to anyone to buy it. Some hair sprays leave my hair feeling greasy however this product doesn't. I find it perfect to use on my wet hair.
Would I buy this product again? Yes

Handbag Review: The differences between the Marc Jacobs Percy and the Flap Percy

I have been thinking it would be very useful to do a blog post to compare my two Marc Jacobs Percy handbags together, to see if there are any differences between the two handbags.

First Difference: Closure - Well looking at both handbags the flap Percy has a flap with a popper closure and the Percy just has a zip closure. Even though the both close differently they both have actually have the same amount of room inside.
Second Difference: The Inside Lining - My purple Percy has the old Marc Jacobs lining which is what I love most about the Marc Jacobs handbags. However on their newer handbags like my Flap Percy they have now changed the looked of their inside linings to the same colour lining as the handbag itself with their logo printed on it.
Third Difference: Inside the handbags - The flap Percy has a back inside zip pocket that I love having inside my handbags to keep things safe whereas the Percy just has a pouch bit inside the front of the handbag to place your phone or keys in.

Forth Difference: The Straps - What I love most around the Percy is that you have the option on removing the strap so it can be used as a cross body handbag or a handheld clutch. However on the flap Percy you can't remove the strap but both handbags have the same strap length that can be adjustable to suit you.

I love both of these handbags and I think these handbags are perfect for everyday use if you don't want to take a lot with you when you go out. Hope this has helped someone who is looking into buying either of the bags

Recipe: Millie's Cookies recipe

I have been craving to bake something that is new and that I have never tried before and that is a Millie Cookie. So my friend Jess told me that there are some recipes floating around on the internet that are based on the company's Cookies. Even though I have never tried a Millie Cookie I found this recipe and they taste really good. This is how I made them:
Ingredients:
125g Butter, softened
100g Light Brown Soft Sugar
125g Caster Sugar
1 Eggs, Lightly Beaten
1tsb Vanilla Extract
225g Self-Raising Flour
½ tsp Salt
200g Broken up flake bars or you could use chocolate chips

1. Pre-heat the oven to 180C
2. In a bowl place butter, light brown sugar and caster sugar and mix together with a electric hand mixer until creamy
3. Add in the egg and vanilla and mix
4. Next sift in the flour and salt then add in the broken up flakes and mix together
5. On a few baking trays roll the mixture into balls
6. Cook for 10 minuets

Recently, I have made these again because they got eaten so quickly and replaced the flake pieces with Smarties and these still taste great. Also I suggest making these with white chocolate these will be super yummy!

Why Didn't I Get One Sooner? - Tangle Teezer Hairbrush Review

I know these Tangle Teezer hairbrushes have been around for years however recently I been looking for a new hairbrush that I can use on my wet and dry hair and this hairbrush does that job perfectly. I picked this Tangle Teezer up in the hot pink colour because I always seem to lose my hairbrushes all the time so this one should stand out a mile when it's hiding from me.
 Tangle Teezer
When I first saw this brush in its box I thought the bristle of the brush were going to be made out of hard plastic however instead the bristles are really soft and flexible which is perfect to use on sensitive heads.
 Tangle Teezer
At first this brush feels odd when you first use it because there is no handle to grip onto but after a while you learn to grip tightly so unlike me it doesn't fly out of your hand when your brushing your hair.

Since using this, my hair has become a lot smoother and it takes hardly any time to brush it. I also love how this brush doesn't pull and yank your hair out when getting rid of my tangles. Some reviews that I read on this product say that Tangle Teezers actually make your hair healthier (I see if this true for me after I used it over time). I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that is looking for something to get rid of the knots out of your hair without it hurting. I kind of wish I brought this product sooner because I am so impressed by it.

Updated Review: Collonil vs. Ink Transfer on Leather Handbags

I have already done a review of this product (here) a while ago however I wanted to do a quick update on it. Recently I started using my leather Marc Jacobs handbag and even before I used my new handbag I used this product to waterproof it from the wet weather here in the UK and like I said in my last post I was hoping it would stop ink transfer from happening to.
I been using my handbag on and off for a few weeks and I have noticed that ink transfer has started to happen on my leather Marc Jacobs handbag even though I pre-treated it with this product. So I took my Collonil Leather Gel and cloth, applied a little over the ink transfer and it came straight off.
Ink transfer from my jeans onto my bag handle
Applied the leather gel onto the cloth which removed the ink transfer of the leather
Like new
So overall it you are looking for a product that get rids of ink transfer from your jeans on your leather handbag I would recommend this product to help remove the stains from it.
